“Meadow” portrays a petrified yet dynamic meadow, where bronze wildflowers and stems gather into a resilient constellation, shaped by invisible winds or forces that remain unseen. Suspended between stillness and movement, the meadow becomes a terrain that bears witness to recurring cycles of destruction and rebirth, reflecting the artist’s long-standing interest in coexisting entities such as the fragile relationship between nature and the human condition, and modes of resistance. Through gestures of process, blooming, decay, and renewal, the work considers self-portrait as a landscape – as both a repository of cycles of time and a space where resilience and transformation continually take form.
