A selection of recent works by Yeşim Akdeniz are currently on view at Kunsthalle Barmen in Wuppertal, as part of their group exhibition titled Ex Nihilo, until December 14, 2025. The exhibition questions the myth of artistic creation from nothing. It shows how artistic knowledge and work production takes shape in practices such as running around, discursive cornering, sleeping in, refusing, tinkering, destroying and exhibiting.
